“While preparing for OP, I keep a small list of mistakes from Healthcare Reading. Reviewing why each answer went wrong keeps my study sessions more focused than simply rereading notes.”

“Great OP prep. OET Quiz Bank was clear and easy to use!”
Jamal W.

“For OP, Pharmacy Writing was the area I kept postponing. Breaking it into a few practice questions at a time makes the material much easier to revisit after work.”
Yuki S.
OET Quiz Bank learner
“My OP routine is simple: one timed set, a short break, then a careful review of Pharmacy Speaking. The explanations show whether I understood the idea or just guessed well.”
Trevor B.

“The OP practice questions kept my review focused.”
Hannah T.

“I use lunch breaks to review Healthcare Listening for OP. Short sessions work better for me because I can focus on one weak area without trying to cover the whole syllabus at once.”
Elena G.
OET Quiz Bank learner
“The hardest part of OP prep for me is keeping similar ideas in Healthcare Reading separate. I now write one-line comparisons after each practice set, which makes the next review much clearer.”

“I am still working through OP, especially Pharmacy Writing. Going back through missed questions slowly has shown me which details I rush past when I practice under time pressure.”

“the practice questions are incredibly helpful, closely resembling the real exam scenarios. There are very detailed explanations provided and actually studying has never been this efficient.”
“The practice questions mirrored real exams with comprehensive explanations.”
“the practice questions are helpful similar to the topics covered in the real exams i love the detailed explanation provided right after each question”
“Thanks to the well-organized practice questions, I was able to tackle my exam preparations with ease. The questions are thoughtfully designed to closely resemble those in the actual exam.”
Of course you can. Any exam can be prepared for independently. But you’ll spend weeks extracting key concepts from dense manuals, guessing which topics are actually tested, and hoping you covered enough.
Or you can let our full-time exam team do that heavy work for you — so you can focus on practice, pass on your first attempt, and spend your evenings with friends and family instead of buried in textbooks.
FAQ
No. OET describes the test as assessing English language and communication, not medical knowledge as a separate subject. Pharmacy-specific Writing and Speaking tasks draw on workplace communication, while Listening and Reading are common healthcare-focused sub-tests.
OET's public overview says Listening and Reading are not profession specific. They are common to candidates across professions, although healthcare vocabulary may appear. Writing and Speaking are the profession-specific sub-tests for Pharmacy candidates.
It depends on the recognising regulator and jurisdiction. PSI Ireland accepts OET Pharmacy for first-time registration; its published requirements are Listening, Reading and Speaking 350, Writing 300 and overall B. All four sub-tests must be taken in one sitting; one-skill retakes and home-based tests are not accepted. PSI separately allows super-scoring across two same-format tests taken within six months, provided those minima and overall B are achieved. These are PSI requirements, not an OET-wide pass mark. GPhC recognition is noted, but confirm its current numerical threshold directly. Verify your regulator's current page.
No. They are original supporting-knowledge checks across the four study domains. They do not simulate audio, live role-play, official writing tasks or full test conditions, and they do not cover the whole syllabus. Use them to diagnose concepts and then complete the open tasks in the guide.
Start with the reader, purpose and action requested. Select only relevant case facts, use observable rather than judgmental language, expand abbreviations and keep sentences concise. A clear structure is reason for writing, relevant background, current issue and action requested. Do not invent dose changes or clinical decisions.
Use safe conceptual reasoning: acknowledge the concern, stop giving routine self-management advice, and escalate or refer according to local protocols. Do not diagnose or provide dosing recipes. For preparation, practise clear handover language and open checking rather than unsupervised clinical management.
When you’re preparing for an exam, the cost goes beyond study materials. It’s the evenings spent searching for answers, the uncertainty about whether you’re covering the right topics, and the possibility of paying for another exam attempt. Premium gives you a focused way to prepare. Practice questions and explanations help you check your understanding. Wrong-answer review and progress tracking show where to focus next. Flashcards, spaced repetition and timed mocks help you revisit difficult material and practise answering under pressure. The goal is to make your limited study time count—and build confidence from what you can actually answer, rather than how many hours you’ve spent reading. Better preparation can help reduce the risk of a costly retake and the extra time away from work, family or other goals. Think of Premium as an investment in your preparation and professional development: one organised system to help you use your time more effectively and approach exam day with greater confidence. Choose the certification and access period you need, with a one-time payment and no recurring subscription.
